Nichole and Andy’s Irish Wedding…
We decided to celebrate St.Patrick’s Day today by sharing the wedding of Nichole and Andy with you – an american couple who chose Ireland for their perfect destination wedding. As a couple they have a huge passion for travel and after they got engaged they knew they wanted a destination wedding in Europe somewhere but wasn’t until they spontaneously took a trip to Ireland that they knew it was the right choice for them. Nichole told us that it was the warmth of the people and the stunning countryside that made them fall in love with Ireland. So the planning began and the first decision was where to have their wedding. They knew they wanted an old house in the country with history and charm but most of all they wanted to find somewhere where they could feel like they were visiting a friend’s posh home rather than a hotel – and Bellinter House was the perfect fit for them!
Nichole & Andy chose an Autumn wedding with a simple and elegant style to compliment their surroundings at Bellinter House. They kept their palette neutral with soft tones of white and ivory with a complimentary fawn colour on the bridesmaids which was mixed perfectly with tartan ties on the groomsmen which they felt added texture to their overall look! They also used table runners at their reception made out of herringbone wool – stunning!!
Overall Nichole & Andy put together a beautifully stylish and elegant wedding – we are absolutely in love with every photo which were captured so perfectly by the brilliant Cooper Carras - a destination photographer based in San Francisco. There are so many stunning photos that we just couldn’t eliminate any of them so today we are sharing the first part of Nichole & Andy’s day with you….the rest will follow tomorrow!! Adding to the history of the house was this incredible Oak tree which is said to be the second oldest tree in Ireland…it’s not every day a couple can say that they married under such a tree, outdoors, in Ireland in Autumn!!!

Such a beautiful wedding! I wish more couples here would try an outdoor wedding. Pretty umbrellas can always be put to the side for guests in case a little shower comes. The scenery in Ireland is so spectacular!
